SLAM Wins Product Shoot Out!
SLAM has done it again. A great endorsement and this is from the top sailing magazine in France. They tested the top foul weather gear and SLAM scored the highest! As you can see below SLAM is truly a leader in foul weather gear and performance sailing clothing.
Voiles et Voiliers, the French monthly magazine with the largest circulation for the sailing sector, has published a technical feature which compares 15 oilskins from the best known brands (Aigle, All mer, Bermudes, Cotton, Gill, Helly Hansen, Henry Lloyd, Jeantex, Marinepool, Murphy & Nye, Musto, Prorainer, SLAM, Tribord and XM).
Amongst the items reviewed for SLAM were the Racing Evolution with matching Long John - technical garments from the SLAM "Advanced" collection - which came out amongst the top performers with a final average of 29.5 (minimum 21, maximum 30 points).
The comparison was conducted via laboratory tests; SLAM - earned the maximum NUMBER awarded, - with equal points to Henry Lloyd, bettering competitors like Musto (21 points), Helly Hansen (26), Gill (28), Aigle (26), Murphy & Nye (24.5) and Pro Rainer (26).
